Most notable of these was Mrs Margaret Beale, a highly talented needlewoman. Together with her daughters, she produced a version of the Artichoke hanging, highlighted in silk. This is displayed in the North Bedroom at Standen, their home in West Sussex which is now a property of the National Trust.
