Description:The original was sewn by Ann Carrington in 1799. This design is a modern interpretation of Ann's work which is now o­n display at Wordsworth House, Cockermouth. It incorporates many of the symbols and motifs typically found o­n samplers of this period and makes an interesting project for stitchers of all levels of experience.
