| Description: | Biddulph Grange Garden is a fine example of a high Victorian garden, created from 1842 onwards. It is divided into a number of small gardens which represent different areas of the world and provide spectacular settings for Bateman's extensive and wide ranging plant collection. The stone frog is to be found in the part of the garden known as China, and was the work of Waterhouse Hawkins, the sculptor of the prehistoric animals in the park of the Crystal Palace at Sydenham.
