Description:Little Moreton Hall, Cheshire, UK, is o­ne of the finest examples of a timber framed moated manor house in England. The exact date of construction is not known, though an inscription o­n o­ne of the window beams states that "Richard Dale, Carpeder" made them in 1559. This legend is incorporated in the sampler, together with patterns found in the woodwork, plaster work and window glazing of the property. This is part of the National Trust Cross Stitch Collection
